We are the U.S. Pipe Valve and Hydrant Division, a newly formed manufacturing and sales group for U.S. Pipe brand fire hydrants and gate valves, as well as many other flow control products used by the potable water distribution industry.
If you have purchased from U.S. Pipe and Foundry Company in the past, you will be familiar with some of the products we offered, including the Metropolitan®/M-94 Hydrant and Field LOK® pipe gaskets. Now as a separate division, we are able to focus specifically on filling your need for quality valves and hydrants.
New Manufacturing
We have moved all hydrant and valve manufacturing to new locations in the United States at plants set-up and operated specifically to make only these products. Our plants are ISO9001 certified – your assurance they operate under the highest quality standards.

Can I continue to get U.S. Pipe brand valves or hydrants through my existing U.S. Pipe distributor?
Many of the current U.S. Pipe distributors will continue to offer our division’s products. In some areas of the country, you may find new distributor locations available. Visit our distributor listings on this web site for the up-to-date listing of distributor locations.
Will my current U.S. Pipe salesman continue to sell me U.S. Pipe brand valves and hydrants?
No, they will now focus on your pipe needs with the same expert knowledge of pipe and pipe connections as before. Will the U.S. Pipe brand valves and hydrants coming from the new plants be the same as before?
In some respects – yes. But in many important ways – no. Hydrants will be identical in design as those you’ve purchased before. Because they are now being made in a plant that is dedicated to hydrants only, you may find delivery is better. The plant will also strive to make improvements to quality and function of the individual parts. Gate valves will be patterned after another design that has been widely accepted by the marketplace for almost twenty years. They are available in the full range of sizes from 2” through 48”. We believe you will appreciate the superior appearance and features of these valves, which similar to the hydrants, are now being made in a factory dedicated to making only valves.
Will I be able to buy other products from the new valve and hydrant division?
Yes. The new division’s products now include IBBM check valves, tapping materials and pipe repair products, and eventually the USPVH line will be expanded to included a full offering of distribution line materials.
